July 2004 - News Line

The next trials will be on July 18th in Trenton, MO. Directions from KC: I-35 N to exit 61 (Trenton & also Crowder State Park exit). Take a right (east) and drive for about 33 miles. Look for a BIG White Cross on your left and turn left (also Crowder State Park turn). Take your first right into the N.A.P. Rock Quarry. The combo to the lock on the gate is 6288 (MATT). Lock the gate behind you and follow road into quarry. Shoot straight across into the actual club grounds and follow gravel road down into the Pavilion area.

Reminder: There will be no event in Aug due to the heat. The 34th annual Ute Cup Aug 21st & 22nd will be held, I believe it's the Rainbow Trail in CO. This event is geared for Intermediate riders and above. The event usually has about a 20 mile loop with 20 sections along the way. A great event.

There will be a meeting for the 31st annual Quarry Cup held at the Barton home on Saturday, July 31st - 7:30 p.m. There will be pizza and soft drinks for those who attend.
