MID AMERICA TRIALS TEAM
November 2010 The next trials will be November 21st, 2010 in Trenton, MO. Start time is 11 A.M. for all classes. The club is meeting the Saturday before the event 11-20 @ 2 p.m. to designate what rocks/ rock piles will be re-arranged by the heavy equipment guy. If you have an area you would like to see re-arranged, be there or be square. The October Hot Dog Trials turned out to be a hoot! The kids Boo fest Saturday night was fun with Trick or Treating at the trailers and then a tractor-trailer ride compliments of Bruce. Heck, there was even a creepy guy running around the quarry entertaining everyone who went on the ride. The weather was perfect! Nothing else could describe it. Thanks to the Carvers, Hopkins, and everyone else who helped out with the food, trials, and entertainment. As always, after the Oct event, is the election of officers. The old officers did a great job and the
newly elected promise even bigger and better things. 2010 MATT Club President - Scott Carpenter 2010 Vice President- John Broughton 2010 Treasurer - Jim Jeter 2010 Secretary - Marc Carpenter - The MATT Christmas Party will be Saturday, Dec 11th at Chris and Carl's lovely home again. Chris did state one rule. . . people have to stay past 10 p.m. Rumor has it; the "Duck Farts" will be back. Directions and details will be in the December news line. - The club voted in a "thanks for your service rule". If you become an elected officer in the club, your dues will be waived that year. - Also, if you aren't current with your dues, see Mr. Jeter (with your money) so you can get this taken care of. Thanks. - The club voted in a MATT Jersey thing. Basically, we are designing a club riding jersey and a jersey will be given to all club members. It's still in the beginning stages but there should be an option to buy pants and extra jerseys if wanted. - The much anticipated MATT Club Contact lists is being composed. I will be hitting people up trying to find out where you live, what your number is, and email address. This is a great way to stay connected in the trials community and a great way to communicate. - The Central Regional Series is almost complete. Just rounds 7 & 8 to go in Munster, TX Nov. 6 & 7. I am proud to say, this is our best showing in years. Thanks to all those participating and hopefully more will follow suit next year. |
